Athira B is an accomplished academician and pharmaceutical researcher specializing in molecular docking and drug discovery through in silico and molecular dynamics techniques. She completed her Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from Medical College Kottayam in 2013, gaining a strong foundation in pharmaceutical sciences.

Driven by her passion for research, Athira pursued a Master of Pharmacy degree with a specialization in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from Amrita School of Pharmacy between 2017 and 2019. During her postgraduate studies, she honed her skills in advanced computational techniques, including molecular docking and molecular dynamics simulations.

In 2019, Athira B joined the esteemed faculty at National College of Pharmacy as an Assistant Professor. She has since been actively engaged in teaching, mentoring students, and conducting cutting-edge research in her area of expertise. Her focus lies in leveraging computational methods to explore the molecular interactions between drug molecules and their target receptors, facilitating the discovery and development of novel therapeutics.
